| Zac Efron Says No To Musicals And Yes To Movies Posted: 30 Mar 2009 12:49 PM PDT Zac Efron has had enough of the High School Musical-type movie to last him a lifetime. Literally. Efron recently turned down the role in the remake of Footloose because he’s sick of making musicals. Instead, Zac would like to focus more on movies like 17 Again, the film in theatres now where he co-stars with Matthew Perry and Leslie Mann.

| Bill O’Reilly Swears Off Sean Penn Movies Posted: 30 Mar 2009 12:21 PM PDT Bill O’Reilly said he will never watch another Sean Penn movie again. O’Reilly is against Penn’s liberal political views and blames Sean for supporting Saddam Hussein when he was in power, along with other controversial leaders like Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez. O’Reilly claims it is his right as an American to not plop down ten bucks to see Sean Penn in the movie theatre. Wonder if more conservatives will take this kind of a stand against Sean?

Halle was on the Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday (partially to celebrate daughter Nahla’s first birthday) and confirmed that children may definitely be on the horizon, but not a wedding. It was actually Gabriel who said, “We have no plans for marriage. We are more married than ever, really.” This may be a smart move seeing as Halle has two failed marriages under her belt.

Miley had previously won in the Favorite Actress category, but Selena took home the orange blimp this year. The Disney star Selena was not present to accept her award because she is on location filming a movie for her show, The Wizards of Waverly Place. But other Disney Star Miley was there to see herself lose!

More specifically, Ashley is supposedly doing a line of cocaine and knows she is being videotaped. While political children and drugs may not surprise you, the shocking part is that Joe Biden, yes, the Vice President, was nicknamed the drug czar during the 80s for his stance against drugs and making anti-drug policy.

And the Post doesn’t want to get caught up in a legal mess if the tape is not Ashley Biden snorting coke, but they did want to get the scoop out first. They say: A “friend” of Vice President Joseph Biden’s daughter, Ashley, is attempting to hawk a videotape that he claims shows her snorting cocaine at a house party this month in Delaware. Dunlap and a man claiming to be a lawyer showed The Post about 90 seconds of 43-minute tape, saying it was legally obtained and that Ashley was aware she was being filmed. The Post refused to pay for the video. The video, which the shooter initially hoped to sell for $2 million before scaling back his price to $400,000, shows a 20-something woman with light skin and long brown hair taking a red straw from her mouth, bending over a desk, inserting the straw into her nostril and snorting lines of white powder. Biden has been an outspoken crusader against drugs, coining the term “drug czar” in 1982 while campaigning for a more forceful “war on drugs.”
So how soon do you think this will be shushed up? You know if this was one of George Bush’s daughters, all kinds of screaming in the media would follow. Will they do the same for the Biden’s?    |
| Madonna’s Adoption is Controversial and Postponed Posted: 30 Mar 2009 05:49 AM PDT Madonna’s adoption is highly controversial in Malawi and now it is postponed. Madonna landed in the African country with Lourdes and is adopting a girl named Mercy. Or she was planning on it, except the adoption was delayed until Friday by the courts. Mercy’s grandparents and even adoption officials are glad, because they have been voicing criticism of Madonna and her actions. 
More pictures after the PR stunts… Madonna has three year old David from Malawi and that was controversial too. Now she is divorced and getting one more. Is she in competition with Angelina Jolie? From People Magazine: On Monday morning the star is scheduled to appear before a high court judge to process her second adoption. When a bystander asked, “Are you adopting another kid from Malawi?” she replied, “I don’t know.” But courts records show she plans to adopt 3-year-old Mercy James, whose single teenage mother died at age 18.
Yahoo! News now says that a judge has postponed the hearing until Friday: The 50-year-old pop star spent about an hour in court Monday in the Malawi capital of Lilongwe. Court official Thomson Ligowe confirmed that Madonna’s adoption application was adjourned until Friday but said he could not reveal any more details. Monday’s court docket listed only the child’s name — Chifundo James, which means “Mercy” in a local language. It was not immediately known whether any of the girl’s relatives were present at the courthouse Monday.

Although she has been reported lately to be relatively clean of drugs since her extended vacation down in St. Lucia, Amy Winehouse’s latest statements about her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, have some thinking that she may be back on the dope after all. Or maybe it’s just me. She has not been hesitant in the past couple of weeks opening her mouth and spouting about how much she loves Blake and how she will not walk away from the marriage, nor was she willing to let him do the same. This much to her parents’ dismay, I’m sure as they have been just as vocal about how bad Blake is for their daughter. But they may not have to worry after all. It was just reported not even a week ago that Jennifer Aniston broke up with John Mayer over his constant Twittering and playing with his status updates. This, while never confirmed by any camp, was very easy to believe, since Mayer’s Twitter updates made headlines on an hourly basis (god only knows why, they were always so stupid.) But they often included his girlyfriend, Jen, and that made her mad. Especially considering that one of the ‘rules’ when they got back together was that he shut his mouth about their relationship. Wow, if Jen thought she could shut John’s mouth, she’s a better woman than I thought she was. 
It’s not easy being Madonna. First Guy Ritchie doesn’t let you bat him around with that fly swatter and then you realize that the 22-year-old that you’re dating just isn’t as mature as you thought he was. Huh. Yes, Madonna has broken it off with the man who could be her son, Jesus Luz because she wouldn’t meet him mom for Mother’s Day and he threw a hissy fit. This just goes to show how stupid he is. Luz had a pretty sweet deal being hooked up with Madonna and set up in her NYC crib. And because he’s taken not too long to show his true colors, it just goes to show how stupid she is.
